Jon Burrows update

Work has concluded on the first of three books focused on Jon Burrows, the secret alias of Elvis Presley, counter-intelligence agent for C1A. The first book focused on Elvis’ early years as a secret agent, covering 1960-1964.

Book two is underway, with five stories to cover, taking Elvis through the end of the 1960s. I hope to have it done by the middle of next month. After that, I’ll take the rest of December off and resume writing in January. I hope to have the third and final book done in February or so.

This year has been tremendously productive. I didn’t think I’d match the output of 2018—a year where I wrote six books—but I have. In 2019 I wrote a trio of Zombie Apocalypse stories, an Adventure story, and one (so far) Spy story.. Assuming I finish the second volume of Jon Burrows before the end of the year (and I intend to), that’ll make six books this year, the same as 2018.

Next year should see fewer releases, since two of the books I’m working on are going to be big, each taking five months or so to complete by my estimation. In between I hope to write a children’s story, and 'I’ll have the third volume of Jon Burrows to do. If I have time I have a Western I’ve been itching to write…

Come to think of it, 2020 might be just as busy as 2018 and 2019. We’ll see.

Time always tells.
