My DISHONORED-inspired office corner

Updated my office with some goods inspired by the Dishonored books. Finished it a few days ago…

The Samurai trilogy of films is one of my favorites, and the book on which they’re based—the biography of Musashi Miyamoto—is wonderful. I keep it on display here because I have the kindle version for whenever I want to read it.

A very nice bronze statue of a warrior and his katana.

This freaking thing. I bought it on Etsy, thinking it was larger. Cost me $20 and it’s barely bigger than my thumb!

Here’s the whole set-up. The books in the shelf are just a bunch of nicely bound collections, anthologies, and special editions. I’ve got the complete Edgar Allan Poe, the works of Lewis Carroll, Shakespeare, HG Wells, a nice Lord of the Rings set, and a bunch more. Below that are a bunch of random books that aren’t as fancy as the ones up top; there’s a great history of WWII book, The Once and Future King, a big biography of Napoleon that I loved digging into and want to adapt to a fantastical setting somehow, the first two Mick Foley autobiographies, and more. The art on the wall represents the cover for the first five Dishonored books, as well as a piece I did (the rider) as I worked to get the hang of watercoloring. My katana sits as the centerpiece. It’s dorky but I love it.
