Work on FOR A BETTER YESTERDAY has begun

The title is a bit misleading. Truth be told, I’ve been working on the book for a few months now, mostly researching the science half of the science-fiction story, and writing down copious notes, ideas, and plot points.

Finally, this week, I completed the outline. The book will have thirty-nine chapters, plus a prologue and epilogue, making it potentially the largest novel I’ve yet written. It is going to be written linearly, with three, 13-chapter acts. After it’s written, I plan to rearrange the chapters as needed, to make the story flow in a non-linear fashion.

I’m very excited about it and can’t wait to start the actual writing. Lord willing, that will begin in July. In the meanwhile, I’m knee-deep in my Jeremiah commentary, a work which will take many more months before it is done.

I better get back to it, actually.
