a new sci-fi!

The freebie section has been woefully ignored for the past several months. I wrote a short for it, then went off to work on a fantasy novel, then abandoned that novel (for the time being) when it failed to come together to my satisfaction.

Now, I’m back in the saddle. There is a new short to be read, and it will be the basis for a new sci-fi novel, though I won’t actually get to writing it until January. I’m going to use the next few months, working on commentaries, and slowly outlining the upcoming book, to ensure I don’t have to abandon it like I did with my last attempt at a novel.
