One Halloween Evening is underway!

This is something I’ve been working on here and there for the past few weeks.

Ten years ago I wrote the poem, One Halloween Evening, but I never did anything more with it. I always wanted to see it illustrated and turned into a proper children’s story but I never got around to getting it done. Phillip was going to illustrated it after finishing One Christmas-Eve Evening, but then his cancer got bad enough he couldn’t work on anything anymore so the idea stayed dormant.

Until now.

I’ll never be able to capture what I have in my head when I read the story. Phillip could have but he’s not around to do it, so this will have to suffice.

I’ve finished about half the illustrations and I hope to have the book done in a month or two, but it’s something I’m only working on here and there, so it might take longer to finish.

We’ll see.
